At Aera, I am deeply involved in overseeing the development and implementation of carbon projects across Africa, aimed at reducing and removing greenhouse gas emissions.
My role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from managing comprehensive project documentation to ensuring that our projects align with leading carbon methodologies and standards. I lead the planning and execution of various carbon initiatives, including renewable energy projects like wind, solar and hydro energies and community-focused projects such as improved cookstoves, clean water access, and efficient lighting. Drafting essential documents such as Project Description Documents (PDDs), and Measurement, Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MMRV) plans is a critical part of my work, ensuring that every project is well-documented and poised for success.”
