Aera just sold 42,000 I-RECs from the small hydro of Bugoye located in the Kaesese region (West of Uganda). Operating since 2009 the plant is a pure run-of-river hydro power plant with a capacity of 13MW, and an annual mean generation of 82GWh.

Aera Group sells forward the carbon credits issued by Aussenkehr solar PV plant (6,6 MW). This project avoids the equivalent of 15,000 tCO2 emissions per year. The plant was developed by French company InnoSun.
Aera Group signs the trading mandate to monetize the carbon credits of Soubré hydropower plant. Into operations since 2017, this project is the country’s largest renewable energy infrastructure (275 MW). Soubré avoids 600,000 tons of CO2 per year.
