Aera buys forward $4.3M CO2 certificates to be issued from energy efficient cookstoves program in Burundi. It is Aera’s largest ever purchase. The deal provides $1M prepayment to help kick off activities.

This program is supported by OBEN, a local NGO with a solid track record, active in climat projects for more than 15 years and already operating 5 successful carbon programs, they employ 350 staff and generates $2M of turnover per year.
