Replacing kerosene or paraffin with portable, affordable solar lights saves money, enables more study time, improves health, makes a home safer and saves the environment from CO2 emissions and harmful black carbon. The Project promoter, Sunny Money, is a social business and the largest seller of solar lights in Eastern Africa. Its product consists of a series of Light Emitting Diodes (LED), with a rechargeable battery and a photovoltaic panel.
